Diahanne Rhiney BCAe, Chair of Chayn’s Board of Trustees is an award-winning Social Change Advocate, Activist, qualified Psychologist and Founder of Naked Truth Social Change Agency, the first in the UK to lead in practice and purpose by spearheading ambitious campaigns, including the most successful #CanYouHearUsNow Campaign giving domestic abuse a ‘face’ of solidarity and gaining a million responses within an hour of airing; and building key partnerships through marketing and communication strategies to raise awareness of the social, psychological, and political issues that mostly affect marginalised groups. She is also the Founder of Strength With In Me Foundation Charity (S.W.I.M) facilitating educational campaigns and workshops at schools to address domestic abuse and raise awareness by equipping young people with an emotional toolkit focussing on healthy relationships. Her contributions to society in promoting humanitarian values with particular focus on supporting girls and women was recognised and rewarded when she successfully masterminded and formed an All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG), lobbying for a number of years for healthy relationships to form part of the compulsory teaching in UK schools. Diahanne is a successful global keynote speaker with a driven focus on diversity and inclusion; and an accredited motivational TEDx speaker presenting to local audiences about social issues. She has written two powerful self-empowerment books: ‘All about Me’ and “I am Intersectionality”; and is the host of 'Behind her Eyes' podcast exploring the intersectional social and political framework. She is also the Founder of The Baton Awards celebrating women from diverse racial groups. Diahanne is a key advisor for City Gateway that provides training for disadvantaged young people in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets and other boroughs of Greater London. She has been accredited Winner - NatWest Everywoman Athena Award (Most Inspirational Woman Running a Business); Winner - Violent Crime Prevention Board (Championing Social Wellbeing Award); Winner - National Diversity Awards for Charity Work; awarded a British Citizen Award for services to Education and featured in ‘We Are The City’ top 50 Trailblazers in Gender Equality List.

Dama Sathianathan is a Partner at Bethnal Green Ventures, Europe’s leading early stage VC in tech for good which has 4 funds and has made 141 investments to date.Dama co-hosts the LDN Tech for Good, WorkerTech and ICT4D London meetups. She previously worked for international NGOs in digital communications and holds a BA degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Tilburg University and an MA in International Relations from Leiden University. In 2021 Dama was included in the Top 100 Asian Stars in UK Tech 2021 list which showcases the most inspirational Asian people working in Britain’s tech sector.

Antonella Napolitano is Network Coordinator at Privacy International, a global civil liberties organisation that challenges government and companies and their surveillance practices and advocates for strong regional, national and international laws that protect privacy. Antonella recently co-authored the report “Digital Identity in the Migration & Refugee Context” on the challenges of continually collecting identity data from migrants & refugees (published by Data & Society). She contributes to magazines and online outlets and speaks at conferences such as Personal Democracy Forum, the International Festival of Journalism, Re:publica, State of the Net. Previously, she worked as Communications Manager at CILD, the Italian Coalition for Civil Liberties and Rights.

Anjali Ramachandran is a Director at Storythings, a media strategy and content production company. She is co-founder of Ada’s List, a global network for women in STEM with over 8000 members. She writes the Other Valleys newsletter about creative and technology news in emerging markets. Previously, Anjali was Head of Innovation at PHD Media, a trustee of visual arts charity Photoworks and on the Advisory Board of Angel Academe, a group of angel investors who fund female entrepreneurs. She was one of BBC’s 100 Women in 2014 and the Financial Times/Inclusive Boards Top 100 BAME Tech Leaders in the UK 2018. She is a trustee at Chayn.

Di Luong is connecting the dots between social justice and technology as Director of Partnerships at the Algorithmic Justice League. Prior to this role, she worked at the Open Technology Fund and USAID. Engaged in ethnographic fieldwork for UNICEF and the World Bank — Di traveled the globe to learn directly from communities most impacted by digital inequity. Her research has been cited in the New York Times, ACLU’s comprehensive survey of family regulation system algorithms,  and Stanford Center for Philanthropy and Civil Society among other publications.
